There was a time when every woman possessed a necklace of faceted rock crystal beads, usually faceted. I like them especially when combined with other beads — I used to find old necklaces at garage sales, and that’s where I found these. Cara is combined with carnelian beads, freshwater pearls, and sterling silver spacers. She is strung on silk and is adjustable from 19 inches (482 mm.) to 21 inches (533 mm.) in length. Because I can no longer source the colored, corn-shaped freshwater pearls, this is a one-of-a-kind necklace.
