I found the central stone, bat cave jasper, on Etsy, and I just had to have this stone. I paired it with blue apatite (definitely treated in some way to get that color); the design came quickly. The chain is composed of sterling silver with blue apatite beads and freshwater pearls. The chain measures 16 inches (406 mm.); the pendant itself is 2 1/8 inches (54 mm.) . I can no longer source small colored pearls such as these, and when I’ve gone looking for bat cave jasper, none come up. So this is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.
