I love beads; that’s probably obvious from my work here. When I saw this strand of aquamarines in a supplier’s store, I had to have them. I’m not a blue person, preferring the red family of colors. But these aquas are spectacular. The bracelet is designed to fit a wrist of 7 1/2 inches; in addition to the aquamarine beads, there are freshwater pearls. The bracelet is strung on silk; all is hand-made. The clasp is a hollow form toggle. The earrings are made from sterling and fine silver with aquamarine cabochons cut from a bead. The earrings are also hollow form and are 1 5/8 inches in length. The bracelet in particular is a one-of-a-kind piece because I can no longer source colored corn-shaped freshwater pearls.
